In my head
You obviously have a huge threshold for pain, and a long rope for patience. I remember not too long ago we were all puting our thoughts and prayers towards Taylor and her operations. Really glad to hear that her treatments are progressing well. Please do keep us posted.

Sledding, and working on my sleds, has always been a huge stress releiver for me. I was in your situation the year I got back into sledding. My Frankensled taught me alot so take it all as a learning expereince. Now that she's all together and running well I expect you will never leave the sport....it is truly addicting and the people who ride together are one heck of a lot of fun. Since you are friends with Clayton, I suspect you and I will at one point be riding together. Really looking forward to it!!

Best wishes to your daughter. Deano, you'll have to chance the name of your outfit to 'Happy Motorsports'. Marriage seems to have softened you up a bit.:d

burn the sled, bad luck sled,, then give that cute Taylor a big hug. she is most likely the reason that you are sane after the nightmare sled story.

All the best to your family during this tough time......children just shouldn`t have to go through that.

As for your sled - wow - you must REALLY love sledding! I cannot understand why people try to pass off their junk........I bought one just like that not so long ago and as someone not new to the sport I should have caught some of the stuff. I ended up parting out some and selling to a fellow that I encouraged to thoroughly look over to make sure he knew what he was getting himself into for repairs. Honesty is so important when selling stuff - don`t try to hide it, be open about what you know is wrong and go from there if you cannot fix it first or don`t have the money too before it goes up for sale.

Glad this hasn`t put you off - don`t know too many that would not have packed it in at this point!

Glad to hear about Taylors success thus far.... puts a smile on my face and warms my heart....

As for haggis's re-sale comments......all I have to say is Karma's a b^&ch and in the end everyone gets theirs, I never hide the reason for a sale

Cheers, I'm sure we'll see you out on the trails and out at the lake..................:beer:

Great pictures. She's beautiful man! Prayers for her continued recovery. As for your sled....if you stay with the sport after all that, you deserve a medal!

Just wanted to stop in and say HI. Following Tayors radiation treatment we just had our first MRI and got the results back ! So after 19 months we now have our first CLEAR MRI.

The battle is not over, we have MRI's every 3 mo. for the next 2 yrs. Then MRI's every 6 mo. for 2 yrs. Then MRI's once a year until she is 12 yrs. old
This is a great start to 2010 for us !!

Here are a few pictures for you guys. The one picture includes 2 ladies from the kids with cancer society, my wife and Taylor from the end of treatment party that Kids with cancer put on.

I would like to thank everyone for there well wishes, happy thoughts, and prayers ! It seems to be working... Thank you for your kind hearts. Enjoy the weekend everyone :)
