Hey great vid ............. just one comment and that is some of your pulls are dangerous. Highmarking under a cornice or up to a rock face is just asking for trouble especially in Blue River. It's prime avalanche conditions. Love to see you on the site would really feel bad about another casualty out there. You had lots of really good safe pulls too!! If you haven't take an avy course.

Keep up the good vid work!!

Safe riding !! :beer::d:beer:

Glad someone finally said something. I'm watching the vid and it's all cool and stuff, then I start seeing all the red flags.

You have good instincts, now just to the right thing with them.

i THINK MOST OF YOUR REPLYS WERE BECAUSE OF THE CONFLICT OF YOU cAUSEING aVYS , AND RIDING IN DANGEROUS TERRAIN.

iTS NOT BAD gREAT RIDING, BUT GET A HEAD ON YOUR SHOULDERS FIRST, THIS IS JUST PLAIN STUPIDITY!!!

No shite. This cat should post photos of his machine and face, along with his buddies. If highmarking dangerous stuff is your idea of a good time, I would rather be elsewhere when you release something, I don't want to dig someone with that attitude out, I'll let Darwin handle that one.

Its not your vid dude,you didn't know any better. its what you said.. You need to take an avy course. You also need a good scare out there to let you relize how mighty the mountain really is. Yes its all a rush but I have to agree with the guys on this one, I would stay away from you and your riding partners. Better learn now the easy way then learn with the ultimate consequence.It won't be you that gets killed it will be your friend and you will have to live with it. Stock M1000 167hp. with gobs of torque. Stay safe this season dude would hate to see ya in the news.

ok, the reason people are getting upset is because there was some bad desicions in your video and people were explaining to you what those were. you have been taking this advice and arguing against it. most people on here would agree that we want to see you keep riding and makin more vids but dont wanna hear about you doing something stupid and getting yourself or others with you killed.

my 2 cents.

it really does take a near miss to change how you ride. last season as i was digging a friend out burried up to his neck. . this was a wimpy hill too. but almost 2.5m of snow broke loose and it didnt move fast either. it wasnt steep. but that doesnt matter it still won. now when i ride people wonder why i pass up certain opportunities. they havent experienced what ive experienced. and when you spend as much time in the hills as i do and see weird stuff like that happening it makes you second guess every pull you have ever taken or will take.

we want you to ride and make videos. your a great rider from what i can see.

but you should try riding with some knowlegable people. ( if they will let you ) as you will have to change your attitude slightly. you will learn alot and iwould bet you wouldnt touch some of those hills you were on if you fully understood what could happen. i beleive in avalanche courses but just listening/watching and learning from the experienced guys goes along ways if you dont have the time or the funds for the course.

some of the hills you were playing on arent so bad. ididnt watch the whole video but some of them were short and had a gentle long runout zone. good on you.

but the one with the gulley is asking for it. LARGE faces like that will fill up that gulley deeper than any probe will reach. they will be heli lifting an excavator to dig you out. and dont get me wrong in the correct conditions i would be all over that gulley.

ps. myname is sean maxwell and i will let you know if you are doing someting stupid on the hill. ill approach you nicely the first time as i like to educate. so take it for what its worth and accept the advice on here and on the hill.

we all realize your harmless but you dont truly understand the devestation an avalanche can create. neither did i when i was 17. all is good. attitude is everything
