I was riding around minding my own business when we stopped for a bit and shut the my 04 summit 800 off. When I went to go again it was bogging bad and not going good. It would go good at higher rpm sometimes but was hard to get around. When looked to see what was up for the 12th time...lol. we pulled the airbox off and a friend said to look at the needles. Well one needle was down, so we figured the clip was off. After pulling the carb apart we saw that the clip was intact so we pulled out the needle and it was broken right in the middle. What would cause this or was there an update or recall? We managed to build a makeshift needle out of an automotive carb spring, cutting and shaping it so I would have some bottom end.
