Yes. I got white seats, red paint, and tow hitch so I think that was about 5-6k extra.

Or wear designer dark blue jeans, my dads wife always has to wear these $2-300 fancy jeans and they tend to bleed a bit when new, she found out the hard way, brand new car white leather, f*cked the driver seat up bad . $2000 for a new seat lol. My $30 Levi’s from Costco don’t do that haha

You can’t drive more than an hour on the highway without stopping to charge so it shouldn’t be a problem.

Wrap and tint was finished today so got to pick it up. My first time driving a model y for more than 1km. I really like the seating position compared to the 3. The 3 definitely handles better but the Y has so much more space. I didn’t get FSD this time so just running basic autopilot.

So where do you get these things repaired? Looks like the only way i see is get a tow truck and haul it 800k to the nearest repair shop. Is there any other way? anyone know of a tesla mechanic?

Tesla gave a quote of 3400 dollars to tow in down to vancouver, 760k one way.

The other day I saw one of these towing a 14 ft travel trailer into BC along the #3 highway.

Goes into derate, top speed 60k. Shuts off at times not sure if it will restart. I will keep you post on the bill and what it was. The earliest he could get in is may 29 in vancouver. Then he has to fly down and drive it home. Not sure when it will be fixed. But i will keep you posted.
