it may be a bad thermister, can be checked with a multimeter and a cup of ice water.
I found the little black thermister thats attached to the fins at the back of the fridge. I can unplug this little bugger and drop it in a glass of ice water and put a multimeter on it and see what happens. I guess if theres no change from warm to cold than its pouched
This is the best idea and a bonus you won't have to dump the black water tank as often (less pee).:d
Yes but I really hate having to empty the black tank after a long weekend of drinking whiskey too

If its the thermister, it's cheap and easy. If you need a new board or eyebrow for the fridge, go here: Dinosaur Electronics Home. High quality circuit boards for RV appliances.

Waaaay cheaper than a factory unit and much better quality. I had the same issues as you with my last RV fridge and ended up going with a Dino board.

Norcold 1200 Freezing Up - iRV2 Forums..........Another good read.

Thanks Dave .. great advice as always :) Going to check out the thermister sand and mud propulsion system first today and go from there :d  :d

Found this: Disconnect the thermistor harness from the P2, 2-pin terminal on the lower circuit board. Place the thermistor in a glass of ice water, approximately 33°F to 35°F. Wait 2 to 3 minutes. You should get a reading of approximately 7,000 to 10,000 ohms.
