Muff pot containers

Hello. Just wanted to share a link to some foil containers that fit perfectly in the muff pots. I have the muff pot that came with the sled shed exhaust. I am guessing they are all similar in size. The size of the containers are listed in the add. They work great with zero spills to clean up and cheap

That is great. Another place is the Wholesale Club warehouse. If there is one in your location. I know there is one in Calgary and Lethbridge but other wise they are hard to find.

I have used the following product for about 3-4 years now. I hated packing tinfoil packaging out but love to bring the wife’s pasta, ribs, honey garlic meatballs, garlic shrimp etc etc etc with me on the hill. With these I just need to bring my spork and when I am done the garbage is the size of a quarter and fits great inside my “pop” can. It sucks to have to buy from down south but the product is sooooo worth the meals in my opinion. It is even nicer when you have saucy food in your pot and then you end up with the sled laying on the hood for 20 mins due to a sudden dismount lol. No clean up of the pot, no clean up of the sled, just wipe the spork and give her a little snow wash and your ready for the next meal.

Well you cant cook soup unless your on smooth trails.

But for the most part, if you dont over fill them, they generally do not leak.

Have taken chili and stew on the hill in these conitainers.

The best part is you can take a few in your tunnel bag and pick what you want.....I usually take a few with me as the group I ride with seems to always want a taste of the "Chef Du Grill" flavoured food. LOL. HAHA .

I put them in a large ziplock bag, which also then doubles as my used sealable garbage bag for used containers.

Some of My Favs are Cabbage rolls, Wings, Lobster, butterfly garlic shrimp, Sausage. (left overs from your favorite resaurant. Take empty tins with you on your trip.)

I tried the plastic bags in my Thing cooker can and it ended poorly. Melted plastic does not come off the food or the can easily

I just fold them over and tape them shut. I've never had anything in them that is really messy. Wings, pizza bites, sausage and cheese, jalapeno poppers, steak bites... Now I'm hungry!

I have never had the snackerpackers melt. I have my pot right on top of my turbo and it gets hot and gets hot fast! I have cooked pasta so long it turned hard but still had not melted the bag. Maybe the bags material is different than the bags you have tried to cook with?

Speaking of cookers and muff pots, I know that the Sled Shed produces the Thing cooker muffler, but does anyone know of any other manufacturers of the cooker mufflers? I thought there was a company out of Westlock. Thanks.

i recall reading a thread last year about the "knock off" Thing can made in Westlock. Doesn't sound like it was any good and poorly made. should be a thread on here about it...
