I was asked on how i did the intake on my rig, so i thought i'd post up here, I just used parts from a semi intakee system I bought from greg's distributors in calgary, but any heavy duty parts store would be able to get them, the air filter is just a 5" id AEM filter i picked up at Andy's unlimited, the carb has the regular 5.125" airfilter base, i used a straight rubber coupler meant for 5"id tubing means it has an id of 5.125ish, i then clamped it to a 90* elbow which has a hole drilled in the center of the elbow for the carb stud (theres a space ground so that a nut can sit flat on the elbow), then i coupled a 45* rubber elbow to the 90, then ran a straight piece of 5" tubing into the cab to the filter:

Thanks man.. i wanna do that to the burban...

Here are a few Videos of the Burban i finally got..

Don't Judge, i bought a new Distributor the Day of the Mudbogs, put it on, and buddy effed it up while i was registering so the timing is sooo far off, it barely makes it thru the pit... but i am 1 of 2 that made it through, the other was a 1100 horse Mud Rail...

In this Video i Snapped the Front U- Joint about a 1/4 of the way thru the pit, did the rest in 2wd..

and Salty, I'd Trade you trucks any day! yum, love thoughs 80s pickups.

Thanks but we've got way to much work into it now to even think of getting rid of it. Going to start on a 4 link Willy's Pickup this spring should be sweet.
