I did the bikeman kit after 3,000 figured should put a new top end. Anyway I put it in broke it in right and I noticed the sleds exaust was a little louder seemed to have more compression even before I hit 3,000. By the way the original pistons looked brand new still. I added a pipe and clutch kit sled was running amazing no det or bogs. Even on the big pulls.

Yes the 11/14 engine is still in need of a piston kit. This is a great kit for the price and no fuel controller, the kit works vary well I have one in my 2012. Let me know if anyone need one over the summer thanks Chris.

The kit will be around 932.00 by the time it gets to us.

I'd still love to hear as of why the 13/14s need pistons from someone who obviously has lots of experience in taking them apart?

I might be looking at a drop in kit this summer. This kit sounds pretty good. Save some money not having to run a fuel controller.... For those with the rk tek kit, What did it end up costing with the fuel controller and everything. Do you run egts for tuning too or just watch the plugs?

I tuned by feel and confirmed with plug/piston readings. I keep it on the safe side cause I'm no tuning pro.

BD fuel box is about $425 and I think I had $1250ish in complete RKT kit with clutching, box and cheater head.

Thanks! Did you find the tuning very difficult and time consuming or was it pretty simple to set up?

RKT's fuel numbers did not work for me, needed more fuel so that took a little time to figure out. Clutching worked well and was easy to adjust with the rooster weights but the backshift with the stock secondary is a little slow. Not bad but I'm going to try and improve it this year.

If you have some basic tuning knowledge its easy.
