just looking to dip my toe into the enclosed trailer thing. Buddy gave me a great deal on a 3 place that I can leave out in BC. I would like to have a heater of some sort to dry out some clothes and sleds overnight.

These run off a 20lb propane bottle and are cordless. Probably plug it into my powerbox to extend the battery.

the trailer is a 18' three place with a vnose. They have 2 kinds - 35000 btu and 60,000 btu. Would the 60,000 be overkill?

Ive got a forced air furnace in my trailer, but when I get back from a trip I use a 35000 btu Mr. Heater to dry out the trailer really well instead of letting my furnace buck for two full days. The Mr. Heater works very fast so I'm guessing with good ventilation it will work just fine for you. They will cause a lot of condensation on the ceiling and walls though.

I have a corded 35,000 btu mr heater I use at home, it won't thaw everything out in my 3 place triton enclosed in the yard. warms up the top half of the trailer but not enough to melt the snow and ice off the sleds at -15c. a fan to circulate the air might help though. looks like the cordless one will only last 4 hrs on the battery too.

I bought the Mr. Heater Contractor from Princess Auto a couple years ago. Looks like its identical, except for it doesn't have the cordless feature. I had a 12'x20' tarp garage built on a 16'x24' wooden floor built with 2"x4"s and 3/4" plywood. I used it for working on my sleds in the winter. The little heater would work great, heating the garage in 5 min to a reasonable working temperature. There seems to be enough air flow through the fan in the heater that it would circulate the air pretty good. There was no thermostat to shut it down, but I think if you let it run for a couple hours, it would dry out everything pretty good.
