mountain strap

anyone else managed to break their mountain strap on the new axys?? did mine in today, was not very cold and it broke right where the rubber is moulded into the aluminium. to make it a bigger pita polaris only sells the strap with the bars. any suggestions?

not sure if it will work on your sled, but i put a rev strap on my XM. and prefer it over the moulded stock piece
