I don't have many pics, but other guys have lots so the pics will come. In short our trip went as follows:

Wednesday morning we all met up at Spindrift. Then headed for Renshaw.
We froze our azzes of getting to the cabin and waited for the whole crew to get up there; only to find that Shemed's Assault 800 had decided that 20 kms was far enough for that engine (it's 3rd one in about 300 miles) and four of our crew was heading back down to visit Glen at Spindrift again and rent a sled for the rest of their trip. The rest of us headed in to Blackwater.

Thursday - Headed into Belle. M7 T.O. stabs his track as soon as we get to the cabin. He takes dad's (McCat) M1000, and McCat and I head down to see Glen at Spindrift again. Get a call from Whitech mid-afternoon; "We had a runaway, we are just about back at Spindrift." We find out that one of the young guys was going full bore and didn't see the cliff ahead. He bails off and the sled ghost rides over the cliff and down the hill where it crashes into some avy runout and ends up upside down. They have no idea how to get there. Glen calls Rod and a couple hours later the sled is at Spindrift for some MAJOR cosmetic reconstruction.

Friday - Head back into Renshaw to work our way back towards Spirit Lake. Find it way too wind loaded and decide to turn around and head back. Now it starts again..... A couple of the first sleds to try to get out dig HUGE holes and end up stuck; four of us are now trapped half way down. Sled Slut lites up his bad ass turbo Nitro and tailwalks past the stuck sled to climb out. Next Snowseeker lites up the Mountain Magic turbo M8 and gets pitched hard right, past the stuck sled in the air and ALMOST ends up on top of a rock face before he ends up laying at the base of the rock face pinned under his sled. We get him rescued and get everyone back to the top with only minor cosmetic damage done.:d While playing around in the afternoon McCat lawndarts his sled and bends his steering post.......OMG can this trip get any worse. We decide to head out and come upon SledSlut, Peakseeker, and the rest of the crew parked just before the, "Big Drop In". The turbo Nitro is done. Drew idles it out onto the lake, takes GPS co-ordinates, and contines on with Peak Seeker's M8, while Peak Seeker doubles out with dad (McCat).

Saturday was quiet as only 5 of the just about 20 guys that started out as our crew were brave enough to tempt fate, and, or, still had something to ride.:d

Cept for the cops it was a great weekend. Managed to find decent snow on Sat. pretty stiff and sore today. Nice seeing everyone again!! :d
