My holidays are coming up in a month and I want to head towards the mountains this time. I dont know where to go so I have come here for some advice for you all. Preferred to stay in Alberta, but if its not to far over into BC, we might try it.

We love to fish so it must be where there are some good fishing spots. We dont have a boat, so shore fishing is what we will be doing. We like treed in spots, none of that open field camping. We are pulling a 22ft. trailer thats pretty low to the ground, so we cant go brushwacking. :(

So if anyone can recommend some places, or if you have some pictures of these places, I sure would appreciate it..... Thanks. :d

I would suggest Blue River. Not to far from Jasper. You can fish the river and many lakes in the area. One lake you can rent a canoe and fish all day.

You are describing Valemount. Just across the BC border only 4.25 hours from the west end of Edmonton (maybe a little more if you are pulling a trailer). Lots of treed camping close to Town in the privately owned campgrounds and lots of public campgrounds you can get to with a trailer along the east side of Kinbasket Lake (no power in those ones). Tons of trout fishing in the small lakes, creeks and rivers and everything you need in Town (Home Hardware, Restaurant, Grocery Stores, Fishing Licences and gear). More hiking trails than you could ever hike in a month including those at Mount Robson only twenty minutes away. If you have a quad/quads there are hundreds of miles of logging roads and if anyone golfs Valemount Pines is a beautiful 9 hole golf course that is never busy. On the hot days swimming at Cranberry Lake just south of town. Curtis Pawliuk at Varda (Depsnolvr) is an avid trout fisherman so if you PM him he can give you much more information on campgrounds, trails, fishing, etc.
