just wondering if anyone has used this product and if so how did they like it? I just hate having to look back all the time to see if your gerry can is still on the back on some of those nice whooped out trails

There's several old threads about this. I have it... It works well as long as you ensure that you hit the rail while sliding it on... Once I wasn't paying attention and it wasn't quite in... That's really the only way you can lose them unless something breaks.

For the xp, the best one I found was the Holz rack and can. I cant count how many times I had to pick up my buddies doo can on the trail cause it fell off from the bumps, the ratchet system just doesnt seem to hold it tight enough when its full, and if you ratchet it tighter the thing just strips. My 2 cents.

later in the season I always use my fuel. I could use more if I had it. early in season I never need it but it is aways good to have just in case. never know when I might drop into something and have to spend all day getting out of there.

Any of you know how well it will work when it is all iced up.

keep something to clean the rails.

or..

on the doos since its above the cooler its usually just slush you can wipe it off. or slide a can on and off to clean the rails.

its when you leave it for too long the slush freezes.

Its a great product. But as stated before it seems really tight on the rails and takes a bit of force to get them on and off. But I'd prefer a snug fitas compared to loose. Just means they are on there nice and secure. As for ice build up ive never had the problem. My rack is right above my intercooler so its always nice and free of ice.
