I'm on my second pair of these, I know what you mean. Jake warrantied the first pair and the second already has a hole in the finger tip. Worn them for leisure mostly and sledding maybe 5 times.

I may try Klim next time or something else. They are comfy, and warm to about -20. But I hate how they are basically ice blocks once they get wet at all.

Huh well I will have to phone jake

sent while I should be drinking tea's

You shouldn't be wet. At all.

If you are something is up.

Call us here and talk to Jake or file a claim online. Either way we will fix you up.

Any places around Calgary sell Motorfist Boots? Anyone have any real reviews?
I have stompers and love them wear them shoveling snow and everything I have to do around the house and they've taken two seasons of beatings in the mountains on all types of running boards and leant them out lots and everyone's loved them and been warm, they are pretty scratched up but don't leak or get me wet, I found them cold until I wore the Motorfist socks or my Klim socks however but that has to do with sweating in cotton and the the cotton retaining moisture, have also heard if you're feet are wide to go with the redline model boots as they are a little more suitable but you'll know when you try them on

If peeps have warranty questions, please call Jake, at 1 877 fist 411 lol. while MF guy tries his hardest to keep up with Forum life, the best, fastest and easiest way to rectify warranty issues is to talk to the warranty man.. Jake is da man.
All of them are great peeps, great company, who focus intently on customer satisfaction. If you have questions, and would like to talk more about a product or situation please feel free to pm me, or even better, call Motorfist direct and ask for customer service Carie is Phenomenal, as are Megan and Sara in the office.

Take care.. Happy Dry Butt new year!
Here is an article written by Steve Marlenee about his experience with Motorfist and their Warranty department

Bought the stomper 2 boots after a 3 week chase to find them
albe it a nice looking boot is heavy and they wont keep ya warm under -20 c. Came close to serrious frostbite in a incedent last week where l went into a farmers clear cut burn off a burm
l can however say they probally saved me from a broken ankle being a stiff boot
walked er hobbled away with some goo bruisein

will continue to use with heated insoles for ankle protection But will carry my army mucklucks in my powderkeg for insurance
good boot but insolation quality needs improvement

The insulative properties of the boot varies with the sock worn.. the Redline Sock will give you more warmth for example than the motorfist sock. This boot is designed to be a great Mountain free ride boot, but I use mine often hiking, working, and as my basic winter boot. I live in BC, so our coldest temperature doesn't even come close to the coldest Albertan day.
for Colder climates the Redline boot provides even more insulation which again can be manipulated depending upon the sock you wear.
Never ever wear boots that are on the tighter side, as this will restrict circulation, resulting in cold feet, even running the risk of frost bite. Your boots should fit, without much play, but not feel tight. Do not wear Cotton socks ever with your winter boots, as cotton absorbs sweat like a sponge. As with all winter sports, stay hydrated, as dehydration prevents adequate circulation which again can lead to cold feet hands, and lowering of the core body temp.
Search and Rescue here like the stompers as they keep their feet warm, dry, and they can use them with snowshoes when needed.

Really liking my situation this winter. Last winter I had Stomper v1 in size 11, and they were tight in a thin sock, super tight in a heavy sock. My feet would be get cold very easily because with thin socks there was almost no insulation, and thick socks my feet were being squeezed. This year I bought Stomper v2 in size 12, and now I can wear a thin sock with the half size sole insert for warm days / mountain riding, or a thick sock with no insert for cold days. Although I haven't tried riding in a cold day this winter yet, but I'm pretty sure it will work as planned.

yup exactly my friend! The important thing to know.. if ordering the stompers online, especially if it's non current specials, the stompers fit a bit on the small side, so go a size up to compensate.
glad you're stoked on your Stomper 2s! Wicked for sure... I did some gear testing last ride... Ok.. truth be told.. I didn't quite make it out of a creek crossing due to my lack of "hittin it" and was standing in a creek.. Looked down to realize I was actually In the creek. Feet dry. Rode the rest of the day dry feet.

I just bought my Superior bibs local, they didn't have the matching coat.. sold out. If I would have know we had connections on site, I would have ordered accordingly,.. but I do like to support my local community.

Yup it's wicked to buy local. Dealerships rely on your patronage to keep doors open and supply up. I'm here for moral support, some tech support.. and unintentional humour much of the time..

I purchased the rekon bibs and jacket this year along with the motorfist base layers and valkery gloves. I'm very happy with the gear so far and am going to pick the stompers up next week as my FXR's are starting to leak. Quite pricey all together but well worth it! I would like top get the crunch out so I will be washing my gear thx.

I would just go with Klim, your never wet. Always dry. You will be better off paying more for the better quality.

Funny, I was looking at klim at two local stores today... I was in there all alone for 30 min each store and no one could help me, nor anyone knew anything about the product they were selling... weird! Going to try Ralphs tomorrow.

Well , sorry , but my experience isn't so good. Was out again yesterday, by the end of the day, butt was getting wet, not soaked but it was a short day. Washed and dryered them. I have probably 2000 miles on mine, sort of puts questions about the longevity in my mind. Any longer time users have opinions ? Don't really want to change back to Klim if I don't have to.
