Bought the MotorFist shell bibs last year, Always wore Klim and have never ever been wet but needed a new pair and couldn't find a large tall, so thought try MotorFist. Fit well, good pockets, a bit crunchier type material but las tear noticed my butt was always cool and damp compared to Klim, this year only been out a few times but my butt is getting really wet now. Any secrets or tricks I'm missing, otherwise , back,to Klim for me.

LennyR, try this number tomorrow 403-759-5029. It is the Klim Canada warehouse in McGrath, AB and ask if they have that size in stock. I'm thinking they will ship it to you. Happy New Year dude!

Talk to MOMMA on here. You'll get a lot of motorfist support through her. Very good to work with

Are you sweating? where is the moisture coming from?

What are you wearing for base layers?

Bought a Rekon suit last year, and have nothing but praise for them!

Will not comment on Klim, but I do know there is a lot of smack talk on this site from people with little to no experience.

Im head to toe and love my gear, Valkyrie gloves were so frozen I had to take them off to put my sled in reverse tonight and still warm and my dominator helmet may or may not be the deal breaker but even in comparison to 509 carbon helmets with aviators which I'm running as well I'm the only person without fog issues today, take them to your local Motorfist dealer and see what they can do

I Always wear proper moisture wicking materials only as base layers, have worn the same materials under the Klims for years, and no, it's definetly not from perspiring, it's wet through from outside.
With the Klims every once in a while I'd throw them in the dryer on medium heat and it wold somehow revitalize the gortex waterproofing qualities. Anyone try this with these.?

After purchasing my bibs last year, the dealer informed me to wash often. I followed the washing instructions on the bibs and have never had a problem. I wash them frequently. After every weekend trip and the material is not as crunchy as when I first purchased. Very happy with the motorfist gear! Hope this helps.

You shouldn't be wet. At all.

If you are something is up.

Call us here and talk to Jake or file a claim online. Either way we will fix you up.

Proper washing and drying your gear will re-activate the water repellant properties of your clothes. However the water repellancy will will diminish over time. I had issues with my Klim gear so i filled out a warranty claim asking for a re-apply of the repellant and a repair on my gloves. I had worn this stuff extensively for the last 5 seasons. Klim replaced my coat, bibs and gloves at no charge. Gotta love it!

I'm on my second pair of these, I know what you mean. Jake warrantied the first pair and the second already has a hole in the finger tip. Worn them for leisure mostly and sledding maybe 5 times.

I may try Klim next time or something else. They are comfy, and warm to about -20. But I hate how they are basically ice blocks once they get wet at all.
