Does anyone in the Calgary area wear a size 8 Stomper boot and would let me bring Katie over to try them on.
I ordered her a size 9 and thinking they are a bit big for her. Her heal is lifting in the boot when she walks. I could pay the shipping to send them back but really want to make sure a size 8 will fit properly.... maybe we need a 7 I don't know.

I tried all the dealers in Calgary no one has any 8s in stock.........One even said we never order boots that small.... special order only......

Strange, my size 11 Stompers fit pretty small.

I had help ordering them (kind of on line Willy, direct from Motorfist through the Sled Betties) we measured some feet and compared to someone else's feet to get an idea how they fit.
I don't want them tight on her or her feet will get cold but with her heal lifting in them, well thats not good either.

What kind of socks is she wearing? If they are the thick ones then you have to change sizes. If they are thin then get some really thick ones to try out.

I bought the Motorfist socks to go with the boots. I thought I read somwhere on S&M to not wear thick socks in them....Not sure why.

I cant wear my thick socks in them. They fit 1/2 size smaller. I take 10 1/2 now when I can find them and slowly going into 11's. So I bought the 11's and must wear thin socks. Go pick up a pair of quality thick socks and try them out. It will probably work and be easier then going through the hassle of getting new boots. It is worth a try.

Your boots should have come with some half size inserts. If you remove the foot bed, place the insert and reinstall the footbed it will take it down to an 7 1/2.

MotorFist offers two socks. The MF Sock is a thinner more athletic fit sock and the Redline Sock is a thicker isowool sock. The thickness is not as important as what they are made of. Like all your layering pieces, the synthetic fabrics help wick moisture away from your body to keep you dry and warm. You can use a thicker sock if needed, just make sure it's not cotton so it doesn't hold moisture.

Yep did that. Didn't realize you pull the foot bed out first but did sneak the insert in just ontop. Still on the big side.
