I went to the show yesterday with my old man and brother. My brother got signed up to take his license so thats pretty awesome. I currently don't have a bike but I've been wanting to get a 700-800cc adventure bike for a while and I have to say it's gonna be a hard decision when the time comes but I'm leaning towards the KTM 790...

With that said, if I ever decided to get a bagger, the Indian Challenger would be the bike. The one they had on display in the white smoke colour was downright gorgeous. A pricey bike but it looks to be a great package IMO.

Did you look at the new Yami Tenere 700?
If so what did you think?

I did, I think Yamaha has a good contender for that segment. It is about $1000 cheaper than the KTM but I think the KTM has a better package overall. I'd have to ride them both and form a solid opinion. Both are great looking bikes IMO.

Had a good day, didn't win the Kawi
Very disappointed in the vendor turnout. Had dough to spend and all I got was a Ram mount. Back to surfing Fortnine and Royal.
Wifey and my sister both signed up for their courses with Alberta Saftey Council (thanks for the suggestion Doorfx ).
Signed up for the Indian demo ride. Looking forward to that!

They did have a unit there. Didn't spend any time looking at it though. Ames Motorsports on 111ave between the Esso and Fountain Tire has one in their showroom.

Stopped in at Ames in Edmonton just a couple days ago, to check out the recent models and get updates. they had finally sold the remaining 2018 1WD, No more new models are going to be brought in unless buyer pays for unit 100% up front !
