My driveway was a mess when I got home from sledding yesterday. 20 cm fell through the day and another 4 cm this morning. Avi danger is creeping up there due to the weak base and the heavy loading. Everyone ride safe and make some "Throttle Decisions".......:d

Sorry Doug but you might be hard pressed to find someone sorry for you about your driveway. Its all about the presentation lol.

Hahahahaha....Well I could have said, "Wow, when I got home from a tough day of riding, I had to spend an hour plowing the driveway! There is so much friggin' snow........enough already!"

I wouldn't find anybody sorry that line either............enyways, it is great!

Rode Sunday and it was great. Rode the same areas today and our tracks were gone. Awesome day even with a lot more stucks.

It snowed pretty much all day yesterday in the Rolling Hills. Elkford must have been similar as the driveway was a mess once again. Riding all day and come home to an hours worth of plowing is getting boring! Maybe I should move?

It is glorious out there! Lots of whoomphing and one could see the tops of the little trees shaking while riding by. So lots of settling with the heavy loading and we have to really pay attention to the weak base layers. Be careful out there!

Doug (ferniesnow) is right, there is lots of movement today as well as the last few days. If we all respect the conditions all this settling/cycling is a good thing. As long as we make conservative decisions we can have a blast in this new snow.

Ride safe and have fun...

Interesting slab release on a little roller up in the burn behind the Rolling Hills cabin. Pictures in another thread.

A cold front is moving in with low temps in the -20 range and clear skies. Another layer of hoar can be expected.

The snow flakes were tiny in Elkford as it snowed all day yesterday and there was only an accumulation of 6 cm.
