Good for you, but I don't remember the OP saying they had a BB or were looking for a BB? Do you??

When is the last time that thing seen snow anyway?? Or the hills even??
Why would I go to the hills when you leave your wife home while you go?

I've rode with a few guys running NOS it seems pretty cool, IMO the high compression head on it's own is noticeable but not worth the upgrade unless you go a little further into the motor, my buddies M8 is running the full exhaust head boondocker box air intake and it really doesn't impress any of us, his is an 08 while we are running the newer style 10-11's and other than his never ending clutching and dicking around on the trail there's no difference, keep in mind we are 20hp over him stock, personally I would go for it and if it detonates, no better excuse to big bore

at the moment i am thinking to go the safe option, take out the nos system sell it here or craigslist, and send my cylinders to kelsey at rk tek and get some nice custom porting done, between the rk tek pistons, head and some porting, i think i should pick up between 18-30 hp, its safe, i don't have to worry about detonation over reving or trying to find race gas, and there is more power available 100% of the time...

i really like the idea of nos in the system, but i honestly don't think its worth the headaches that some of you are talking about...

pretty easy to clutch for 1300rpm:rolleyes:

I dont care what anyone says, thats funny chit right there. On another note i ask you this.If your sled is clutched and geared properly for the track size and hp your engine is making, really and truly why are you seeing such an rpm loss?????

Clutch your sled properly.

k here's the scenario.....Your pulling a loooooong hill you notice that your sled is dropping RPM'S and you cant seem to get the power back (maybe you have no room to side hill). This is what the little red button is for when properly used all nos will do is give you that instant power when you need it you push the button and your motor starts to gain RPM again you make it to the top of the hill BOOOYEA!!!!

If your using it for this scenario you dont have anything to worry about because you shouldnt be over revinge (you can *pretty much* leave your clutching alone the way it is now) . All your simply doing is giving your motor a kick in the ass to get back the power is has already lost by the deep snow and crazy angle.
Now lets say your the "special" kind of sledder .....Your racing your buddys in a wide open field and your at WOT 9400RPM (or what ever your sled may tach out at). You cant loose so you figure im out of here and you lay on the button .......

BOOM!!!!! you just over revved and toasted your motor you cant clutch for that, thats just plain stupidity.

and theres more rules for grass dragging/drag racing but since i belive that you are wanting to know more about the mountain riding i wont get into that.

there you go freak you just learned something. I plan to be running a new boss nos system which injects race fuel in with the nitrous so you dont have to worry about detination and your able to hold the button as long as you want as long as your not overrevving.
