more dodge problems

so took the starter in to get rebuilt , but today i went to move the truck by way of pull start , it fired once for a few seconds then died .. will not start now :confused: doe's the starter need to be in too make some kind of connection.... could i have shorted out the fuel pump , in the tank ?? 5.9 24 valve..... ran awesome when i parked it for spring break up .

The starter must be connected or at least the wires hooked up, as some of the wires from the starter go to the powertrain control module........ Won't start if theres no power to the pcm(this controls the fuel pump, injection pump etc).........

thanks summetric....this is prolly why i dont here the fuel pump kick in . new starter should be here today.......... will let you know:beer::beer:
