They are awesome! I’ve had TOBE and klim. Klim is pricey and not much better than tobe. If you look hard you can find a deal on a tobe for 600-700. FXR is junk. Insulated suits or jackets or pants are just plain reduculious. Way too hot and no way to layer properly. The only down fall with a suit is you can’t replace pants or jacket independently. My suits have spent a fair amount of time getting fixed to make them last as long as possible. That’s usually one season. But hey thats not bad for 50 ish days of riding per season.

I bought the Motorfist Blitkreig un-insulated suit and don't think id ever go back to 2pc setup. The breathability is amazing, I always run hot and sweat I have yet to be wet in this suit yet. Previously rode with the FXR mountain series of pant/jacket combo and I would be drenched every day as it didn't breath, it was heavy as hell and the water proofing only lasted a year.

Motorfist uses Event fabric which if you look at the youtube testing videos clearly breathes better than Goretex, that being said I would consider all the other brands of monosuits long before the FXR as their waterproofing is only a chemical spray.

I think if I can get a good deal on a Monosuit then I'll shoot the puck, otherwise I think Danny has a good point about if it gets ripped or torn you're out the entire grand... vs pants and jacket its only half that assuming just one item fails.

I'm on my fourth year on the original tobe mono suit. No rips or issues. If that's all that's holding you back I'd go for it

Between my son getting a blue one, and friend getting an orange one we’ll be looking like a bunch of Skittles out there on the hill! LOL!
