If you have experienced rail contact up front there is a way to increase clearance.
The limiter strap bolt can/is getting pinched

Take out the factory bolt and you could install the parts in the attached picture.
Bolt head up and flat face receiver down.
You could also get a flat top like the bottom so the limiter strap bolt does not extend out beyond the thickness of the limiter strap material.
In leu of the lock nut I used lots of blue lock tie.
1/4" bolt used.

What do they call that kind of nut? Mine hasn't bottomed out since Tyler re-valved my shock, but a little extra insurance might not be a bad idea. We haven't had any rough trails all week, so who knows what might happen coming down Renshaw on a long weekend.

I got the parts in the hardware section at Lowes.
Bolt Supply or Nut and Bolt house will have in SS for zero corrosion.
I had my front shock done also as Nextec had my rear suspension all summer for some testing.....

I modified the stock bolt. Cut the head off and ground a groove in it so it could be tightened. I’ve since changed it since then and doubled up the limiter strap so it has more cushion.

To bad my sled so far away to take a picture.
There is ZERO protrusion beyond the limiter staple on both sides if you use a nut the same style as the threaded shank.
This gives you an extra 3/8" clearance and NO BOLT to pinch.
Nothing, nada, zero.

Key word there was (fix) You should be thanking me. I am making Arctic Cat a better more accountable company by exposing them for all the junk that they are producing. I can't take all the credit though...a few others on this forum are doing their part in the cat expose.

What a joke.

Cost of repairs for my 2017 G4 in the first year was just shy of $4000.
Cost of repair for my Alpha after one year and 400km more riding.......still under $20.
But I will need my first belt change soon.
Just a clueless doolaider.
I sold my junk last year.
Go find a thread you are welcome on........

Do you even ride bro? If you spent more time in the doo section you would realize your new sled needs new plugs. Then maybe you could post something useful for a change. You haven’t posted one conditions pic, useful tip to other members ever. We don’t need you ranting about Cats we have Maxwell to do that. He’s way funnier than you. Kanedog does a great job also and at least has the balls to show up and ride and put his money where his mouth is. Even sled Denny has more meaningful posts than you. So how bout you head down to Canadian Tire and throw some new plugs in your ride and try and contribute and make Snowandmud great again.

Was on the hurt feeling thread that got pulled that told the truth on the 17 lemons.
