Just curious to get an opinion from riders as to their views on mod sleds whether it be mountain or trail. Lets here it:confused:

I thought Deano670 had an interesting question so I've also added a poll to this thread.
I hope I've covered off enough options for everyone, if you feel there is one missing, please send me a P.M.

Base your choice on sleds you have now or mods that will be done for this season.

well mine was stock out of the box, put on some nifty handle bar end mirrors so i can see where everybody is behind me, and i burn race fuel from my secondary fuel buddy gas tank cause it smells good when it's idling in the parking lot. that's about it cause my skill levels aren't up there yet to justify a full blown mod with every dang thing out there yet, and then i'd be like most mods who get horrified at a scratch from going thru some trees to get to the good stuff. my 2cents.

Fab also has the Handicapped tag hanging on his mirror so he can park next to the cabin door.

LMAO 'Threadkiller' and attached pics explain why. While my buddy was away I made a few 'mods' to his sled. Handle-bar streamers, bumper 'clappers' (for that mbrp sound), puffy bullet-hole graphics, classier 'DOO' decal'ing, and wind-generated 'speedo'.

I bought a Kingcat with efi thinking pipe can and ride it,no worries, all riding ,no tinkering.Ya Right..........Started with pipe and can as planned. Then reeds and reverse kit, dont forget the scratchers. Now lets change the track(attac sucked)new camo extreme and 1 inch wider, got to change the drivers, heck its only money.Ok,now I got traction, need more power,(boondocker Nitrous kit W/control box)sounds out of control to me.Lastly ,I would like to be on the sled when it stops(snow eliminators)foot traction can make or break your day!Steering and floatation will likely be last thing before the cometic stuff starts(Powderhound Ski's)And let the airbrushing begin!

Mods Sleds are what sleddings all about.Spend 2 weeks in the garage to make it through the weekend of riding.
I have a 670 done with 740 pistons and 4mm stroked crank in a custom chassis dropped and rolled chain case and extended chain case 2 inches nothing is stock.Polaris bulkhead, custom tunnel ,Doo suspention, lightwieght seat.Pure Addiction light wieght hood.P85 primary, cat secondary, split second pipes
works awesome but is alot of work between trips.
Next will be a new Doo but have way more into this one than its worth so will have to ride it till it explodes again.Or wife gives permission and if I wait for that I will be to old to ride by then
Happy sledding boys
