Really? I love the stuff. Would take it over any other beer regardless of the cost.
I drank many flats of the stuff... I mean it was free. This was back when it was in the white can and I have not tried it for years, definitely not since they switched to the blue can. My shop beer of choice the last couple months has been Canterbury Dark Mild from the same PWB brewery, maybe I'm feeling nostalgic for simpler times when skipping school to drink was an acceptable practice. I will grab a sixxer of Pacific Pil for old times sake, maybe it's changed.

If I drive down to Montana and fill my sled trailer full of $20 24 packs of Banquets what do I have to pay tax wise when reentering Alberta?

Apparently a 45 liter maximum for private purchases.

Ok so I picked up an 8 pack of the Pacific Pil yesterday and either they changed the liners in the can or changed the beer. Gone is the aluminum overtone that left you expecting an onset of alzheimers in the youth of your mid 40's and no hurting hair this morning either. This stuff is actually pretty decent, especially when you consider the price. The team I play for now is sponsored by Fernie brewing so I drink a lot of that and the Pacific really reminds me of a milder (and less expensive) version of the project 9 pils from Fernie. 3.5/5 will buy again.

we use to go to whitefish ( haven't been in 2 years ) and would bring back 10 30 packs of coors banquet beer the extra duty on the extra 8 flats was 6.50 per flat coming from montana into alberta

We were in Sicamous in October, and were buying almost all types of booze cheaper in BC than AB

I’ve been enjoying the coors banquets lately though. Maybe too much. There was a lot of mouth breathing the last trip up to the alpine
