Hello Everyone!
New to the forums and was wondering if anyone online has been riding the Ministik trails and if so how was the lakes? We were riding lake isle and there is alot of water on top of the ice which made the group very leery so we got off and was wondering if maybe the smaller lakes around the Ministik are in better condition. Any help would be great as we are going to get our annual trail pass tomorrow and are planning to go out there for the weekend. also, the trail maps online also looks like they all cross the lakes at some points, does anyone know if there are alternative routes if the lake is not in good shape?

Was out there on Thursday and there is water on a few lakes. By rights you have to follow the trails over the lakes to get to the next dirt trail. If you know where you are and where your going you could bypass and still follow the plan of the area by not riding where you are allow and stay away from the blocked areas. Kind of tricky with the low water levels and rocks out there now. If you go be careful and watch for slush and rocks on the ice and edges of the lakes.

thx muchly! Wives are very leery of the slush as it makes the driving very soupy so i think we may wait awhile before hitting the lakes.

Should be good after a few more sleds pack down the slush and frreze it in good.
