On January 18-19, 2014 it took 6 guys - 2 days to clear the over 60 trees on the Tri-County trail
(65km bush trails- surprising no trees down on the 35km of fields/pasture trails haha)
These seamed to be the BIG trees that got blow down too - up to 14"-the size of the smaller chainsaws blade.
Far worst than opening the trails for the start of the season.

As a groomer operator the last thing you want is a mess of downed trees on the trail at 11:00pm at night when its cold out...
The grooming operation is hard enough with out having to clear trails too
Most grooming runs are from 6 hours to 12 hours - long days
It Takes 24 hours to do a complete grooming

So if you see branches or fallen trees on the rails please cut and move them off the trails
We THANK-YOU in advance

yes I can imagine it was a big job! that was a crazy wind storm. I have trees down in the trails in my back yard as well. and had shingles and fascia blown off my house that I still need to deal with. just brutal!
