I would love to build one from scratch! If I had money to spare I would already built one. I built it about 20 times in my head lol

Buddy built a Bratt mini, he was into it for about 20k with kawi 250 driveline, I’ve rode in it a few times it is fast and fun. Did a lot of the work himself, I have rode once in an outlaw with seedoo 255, not as good a boat for holeshot or handling imo. Not a fan of the plastic pump that was in it compared to the kawi.

A friend says ultra light and lower power to draft less at 5-8mph creeping around is key. He's got a 215 and would go another route next time.

the plastic pump is scary, eagle makes their own suction piece now for Doo I believe.

Meaning the plastic being the pump housing and nozzle, not the intake. Buddies intake is hand built alum but I think now Bratt (not sure outlaw) use a cast piece mini jet or someone builds. Pretty neat to have an 800lb 65mph boat. When you park it inadvertently it’s pretty easy to push around. His is 14 degree deadrise, I haven’t rode in the mini they call trapper center console 8 degree I think, they would be a great shallow slow rig.

There is a 10' hull near me and I have a 1200 turbo doo motor maybe they could go together and make one.
