Booked in a trip to stay here. We got info about food and lodging from sled bralorne website. We arrived to find no cell service, no big deal! We then asked a person walking by where restaurant is, turns out it is closed. We find out we had 20min to get to Gold Bridge before restaurant closed. So we eat there, pain in ass but dooable. Asked waitress when local store opens, get told 1pm the next day! So we jumped in truck and mad 4hr journey to pemberton! Two of the three in our group are diabetic, so there is no way we could stay in bralorne. Of course no cell service ( and fact no one even at hotel till 10am next day) made hard to cancel and explain circumstances. Finally talked to manager and she was nice and understanding. But later in day I see charges to hotel. So turns out that false advertising gets me dinged for cancellation of rooms. We drove 13 hrs there, then HAD to drive another 4hrs to find new accommodations. But it's my fault and I have to pay.
Moral of story. Stay clear! I am dealing directly with VISA now to try and get refund.
