Meteor flash

Anyone else see the whole sky light up this morning?
I was just south of RedWater.

1st thought was lightning, but it lasted longer and seemed more like something exploded.

Then heard on the radio it was a meteor.

It was pretty cool.

That is cool. The one that landed south of Lloyd a few years ago landed about 8 miles from my house. It went right over top of our place.

I was sitting in vehicle in driveway in front of my house and I couldn't figure out what happened. Thought my power transformer blew up. Lol

I was warming up the truck this morning,I had a great view of of it.The colours were crazy.

My daughter saw the whole thing... From her bulldozer at syncrude plant, north of fort mac...

Saw it right over top of my head this morning as I was walking to my truck I thought it was lightning at first but there was a trail of smoke behind it wafting away. Stood there stunned for about 30 seconds wondering what the heck just happened

God I hope not. Last thing we need is for aliens to land on earth. Bet if they do Trudeau and the Liberals will find some reason to give them money.

Driving on kingsway the sky lit up than I could see a streak of light right across the sky.
One of the coolest things I ever seen.

Was driving to work. Was just south of Devon and it flew over. Watched the whole way across the sky! It amazed me how long the fire trail stayed after. Really cool to see. I was reading comments on a Facebook post and a guy said he seen another one around 11 pm that night. I wonder him many fall in a day around the world?
