when I was in grade 4 my school class got to stand in line to meet the queen, she was here to open the newly named Queen Elizabeth Provincial Park. they did a lot of work out there, brand new buildings and big outhouses....the night before she came, someone spray painted "ch!t here Lizzie" on one of them.

Holy hell...you and I grew up next door! I was there too! Lac Cardinal, right? About 1976-77?(I was in Peace river until grade 8).

I met Arlene Dickenson (from Dragon's Den) at a Real Estate Function here in town a few years ago
She was the key note speaker
her speech had ZERO to do w Real Estate, but rather a bit of a bio on her and how she got to where she is today
BEST SPEECH I have ever heard....mostly too becuase she said sh*t a few times and called Kevin o Leary an ass like a dozen times!! LOLOL!!!!
It was amazing to say the least....that woman has been through A LOT and its neat to see what she has become

The KK is one awesome dude, I was sure dissapointed when he want at this years show
Even brought my 3 yr old w me to meet him and get a pic, she was so stoked to meet him...maybe next year....you better be there KK!!!

Many years ago i was the Representative for B.C. at the World Angus Forum(cattle) held at northlands. The queen mom,was there and i had a 10 minute chat with her about our cattle and the ride out thru the mountains.............What a wonderful lady.
We grew up on the Island (Cowichan bay) where my father and i raised purebred cattle. We had a few partnership cattle with Bobby Hull at the time and he would come out and go fishing with our family a couple of times a year.I was in my twenties then (yikes) and we had quite the times when he was out...............We would always stop in at our local pub (the village green)and inevitably the place would go wild. One time we were sitting with Hull & a few buddies of mine. One of them was a little dude. So this guy walks up and asks for Bobby`s autograph,so he signs it`s and says to the guy,"Don`t you want his too" pointing to my buddy. The guy is looking him over,tryin to figure out how this little chit made it to the NHL. Hull say`s "that`s Sandy Holly, the jockey,you should know that" My buddy signs the thing and to this day i would bet the guy knows no different.................

I sat beside kevin brauch (iron chef america and thirsty traveller) from kelowna calgary, chatted a bit, nothing to special. met the whole montreal canadians team back in 93 when they stayed at the same hotel we were at and even the same floor. also sat a couple rows from ryan smyth from edmonton to kelowna, and drove beside jerome iginla going to the grocery store, his house is less then 5 from my house. A few contractors i used to build mine also worked on his

Met Red Adair when I was I Kuwait , Larry Robinson when I was 14.... FYI that's where the 19 comes from ! Clint eastwoods daughter couple times she rides her hourse through dads ranch in Montana. Ron Mclean used to ref a lot of our hockey games way back in the day. he made a bad call once so I wound up a slap shot... Hit him square in the a$$ he gave me a penalty!!! He really is a great guy and mofo can he tell a story!

I met kim coates at my shop one time, Kim and my boss go way back, like four flats on a cadillac. They went to school together here in saskatoon and where good pals. Real nice guy, likes to joke.

I always remember him being blown in half in the movie (blackhawk down) and his crazy mariner acting job in waterworld.
Also heard he's in sons of anarchy.

Ricky Rudd, Michael Waltrip, Tony Stewart, Bobby Hamilton Jr., Ray Evernham, Greg Biffle, and Ryan Newman - all in the pits at Phoenix International Raceway. Newman was the best - he hung out and b/s'd with my bro-in-law and I for quite awhile, just a regular dude.

Played the fiddle with Jim Stafford at the Calgary Grand Stand show one Summer, 11 days of hell....
Played the violin in a fancy shmancy academy where I was taught by super famous peeps, Conducted by Arpad Yo (sp?) and Mario Bernardi.

More recent: I chatted with this wonderful young man Named Travis at the store. He was in getting a few things.. we had something in Common, he was from Wyoming like my husband.. decided that if we went to Wyo we'd shred there, and when he came back to this area we'd take him out shredding.. just a lovely young man.. oh ya.. turns out he snow boards too..... Was Travis Rice lol.. I am not into boarding so I had no idea about his "Big Deal ness".. My kids almost crapped when they found out lol.
Get quite a few big deals that walk through the doors at Main Jet lol.

Ron Mclean at Calgary Stampede, awesome guy. Lou Gossett on flight back from Rio DeJaneiro. Henry Burris on flight back from Houston, cute kids and good looking wife. Jason Glass, chuckwagon racer, great guy. Jose Boisjoli, BRP Rec Products CEO. Down to earth guy. Blair Morgan before his accident, very shy guy. I 've been pretty fortunate to meet some neat people.

Richard Petty, Kyle Petty @ Talladega race track, Danica Patrick in Vegas. Seen Jack Roush aka the cat in the hat. Nhra, personal favorite, "John Force", people might not like him, but he sure takes abit of time with each fan. His daughter Ashley, she is very nice to look at. His son inlaw Robert Hight, Mike Neff, driver/crew chief. Tony Pedregon, he is pretty funny guy. Cory Mcclenathan, Tony Schumacher, top fuel. Met Chip Foose, he is very nice in person like tv. Courtney Hansen, very beatuiful girl! Kim Coon, 1 of the sprint cup girls, blonde one. She was on dumb tv show for abit, she is high her self. While @ the air musem in Ottawa, met the minster of Defense, Peter Mckay.
