Sounds like you are getting a handle on your latest mods. I believe it is normal for the fitting to get tighter as NPT fittings are slightly tapered to help seal better. You are lucky to be able to work on your truck while at work!

Well just got the call from Dodge, my Mega cab gets another upgrade.....a new tranny!

I'm at 78000km and thought I'll run it in to see if they find anything before my warrenty ends @ 80000km and I bolt on my above mentioned non-dodge parts. I had a small drip up by the engine drain plug of all places. They pulled the tranny pan and full of filings?

Well picked her up, its worse than when I dropped it off! WTF. It studders at low rpm. It surges like crazy. It feels like the torq converter is kicking in and out. It has stalled a couple times as well. So back to the shop. Not impressed at all. I didnt make it 20 feet from the dealership!

My rebuild has been less than stellar as well...but 1yr and unlimited mileage so I will put up with a 'bit' of grief...

That sucks! You would think that they would have gone for a test drive before giving the truck to you. I hope that you turned around and got them to start a new work order.

I picked it up after hours, but dropped it back off this morning....now they tell me today its not the new tranny its a motor problem? MMMMMMMmmmmm never did it until they put the new tranny in, so I'm confused as to how that's possible? Magic I guess!

Now I guess it was the tranny filter that caused the problem. Not a OEM filter. But they are looking into the motor still!
