If you have the $, go with one of those mumby 5th wheel set ups. slick as heck. I have a slider, and like it, but darn hitch does take up a bunch of room in the box during summer rv months

I pull a 40' toyhauler with my mega cab dually and haven't had to use the slider on the hitch yet. The hitch is a Curt 20k w/ slider. So far I've been lucky and just pay close attention everytime I've had to back up my driveway to park the holiday trailer.

I have a mega cab with a toolbox in the front and have had no troubles with any of the holiday 5th wheels or my horse trailer. Mine is a Reese, works fine!

Depends on pin position, trailer front end , many things to take into consideration.

Exactly. Also, Mega Cab is the same size box as the quad cab. Hence the longer wheelbase. That said, I have a slider in my mega cab, but I have only used it twice in about 50,000 km of towing my 5th wheel.
