Ah man, that's tempting! Besides having a quad that's not running, I'm not even sure if I'll have my truck out of the shop today. Hopefully, I'll catch you two the next time.

Thats ok Dean, She was pretty wet out there. We found some new trails including one that ended up in a meadow of floating grass, kept an eye out for trees to be at the most 45 feet away. pretty bizarre when the ground starts slooshing around you. Decided discression being the better part of valour we stuck to the main lease roads. Had a bit of excitement when we went for wood, the lease roads were like grease and almost impossible to stay on the road, ok we did slide off and just about lost the quad off the side. The ditch turned out to be firmer than the road. Wasn't sure where to find a tow truck out there. Good times good times, especially after the three fingers of rum after that nonsense!

I know that muskeg lake....about 1km west of the gravel pit, and north about 1km on the trail? If so, be very careful....it's plenty deep under the thin layer of grass.

Ya think!!!! Like I said I was keeping an eye on the trees and we sunk in up to the rack , realized real quick that this was not going to happen with just me and the wife. Up to that point is was nice trail, crossed just below a beaver dam that the beavers were starting to repair as it had been blown up from what we could figure, then we came to a nice "grassy meadow" started to cross when trouble reared her ugly head. Yikes! Came to the sad realization that this was real bad idea. Other than that it was not a bad ride.

Yeah me and a couple buddies went to Med lake last week and it was the first time out there for all of us and we found that skeg field too. I've never seen anything like it. We crossed it but it was sketchy and there were a few stucks.

Sounds like you had a blast! I was going to go there last weekend, but decided to play in Drayton instead. Rally greesy when the clay gets so wet.
