all jokes aside, props to BRP for doing what they did. I try not to be biased but it's hard to stay away from getting a few jabs in at the competition. I'd like to try a t3 next year, 174 3" from factory is unreal, and pretty ballsy move by doo, considering the market for 174 sleds isn't as great as 163 and under. I hope it goes well, end of the day it's all about having fun with buds

Soon as cat and Polaris does something wrong or not up to par with people's expectations, you doo guys are the first ones to slam them. Get a grip dude. Polaris didn't sit on their a$$es either, they put out a new engine that without a doubt will be in the rmk next year, all new digital display gauge with gps and a new chassis. There's only a matter of time before we see it on the rmk line up. Yeah cat dropped the ball, who cares.

You doo guys really do pick apart even people who are sincerely trying to compliment your brand. I am excited to see how well they perform. About the whole marketing thing, I meant there's a lot of people that admit they're not even ready for a 163, let alone a 174. There's a specific market for those sleds. I'm not saying that it was a bad move, I'm just saying it's different, they coulda done a 163 3" but someone felt the need to go 174. I do hope it works out for you guys. all in good fun!

That would be along the lines of me saying when cat came out the the pro-climb chassis all they did was change the hood.... Joking around is fine and its funny... But go read a little first so you can get some ammo... And They DID make a 163 3"... They did BOTH.... If the 174 is to big... DONT get one! there is four other track sizes in the summit line! And as far as cat dropping the ball......... wtf? lol. It seems like unless a manfuracturer incrases 100hp every year and drops 50 pounds they "did nothing". You say polaris "is going to be huge next year" yet they did nothing this year... but they are gearing up for next year.... If there is ANY brand out there you are going to want to keep a close eye on its cat!! They just adopted a pretty strong stepbrother to follow them home from school!

as far as polaris goes they changed 90% of their sled just not the mountain segment.
i wouldnt release the new motor until its proven to a bunch of crazy mountain riders either.

I meant cat dropped the ball in the mtn segment in my opinion. Rumours swirling for a new engine this year, still overweight, still can't make a mountain ski, still use same crappy clutches, go read the threads on what cat done to OTS. That's one complaint. Customer service is terrible, I had a belt blower first wen I bought my m8 and cat wouldn't do anything for me, had to come out of my pocket. We've been complaining about skis and clutches ever since they came out, no one listens. At least with BRP you guys listen to what the customer wants. That's what I meant about cat dropping the ball. I don't need to see 100hp gains and 100lbs dropped weight, just do the little things to stay in the game.

And mtn sleds aren't the only sleds on snow there bud... Polaris put out a new engine with more power, just what the consumers have been begging for. And when it comes to cat next year, well this isn't next year, I'm not gonna ride a 2016 sled right now. I hope they do come out with something mind blowing because I still bleed green.

probably, I have no faith in my pro from what I've read about previous engines. I'm doing a fix kit right away I figure. Sure do love the chassis tho....
