It was a busy day at work indeed. I am surprised this didn't make national news. This only affected about 40 of our systems that still have XP installed on them. I know for a fact that there are much larger companies out there with a lot more XP systems that are still crippled.

My home Computer is a MAC also, once you've had MAC you'll never go back...:d

My work laptop was at risk but got updated with a push before trouble hit. Many many of my amigos were affected both at home and at work...they are re-ghosting machines by the dozens this morning.

I run Parallels on the MAC with XP as one of my virtual machines for "Windows only apps" such as QuickTax. The free virusware that came with Parallels expired last week ... a bud of mine pointed me to Avast...it is a free, full featured virus suite that totally rocks. The Windows firewall is actually very good...combine it with this free virus protection and you are off to the races...no more yearly $$$ It loaded into XP on the MAC with now issues.

I've had a Mac....actually had 2 and I did go back along with a couple of buddies as they weren't all they were cracked up to be. Too each there own but I thought Mac ran worse than a polaris...lol.
