Buddy put the ggb mountain can on his pro 800. Man does that thing scream. Always know where he is in the trees lol.
I would have opted for the trail version myself. Little quieter.
I have a stainless MBRP trail can on my Axys. Havent ridden with it yet so I don't have an opinion on it. Seems to have a nice tone idling and running on the stand.

MBRP Canadian too and I really liked mine but the extra coin was worth going to the Slp pipe and can combo. It just runs better.

GGB cans work well we have lots in stock if your looking.
GGB and MBRP are run by the same family. MBRP (Martin Barkey Recreational Products) started first, then GGB was started by Graham Barkey (son). So I am guessing the design between the two would be very similar. I haven't used either, but have heard mostly good things about both. The price of the GGB is pretty decent.

"Graham is a second generation exhaust designer. Growing up in his fathers shop he learned the art of exhaust fabrication at a very young age. By 1989 he was working full-time building motorcycle headers for a dominant Canadian label. In 1993 he designed his first snowmobile exhaust and built a pro stock drag sled to campaign on the weekends. During the 90’s, snowmobile and motorcycle exhaust were the mainstay. In 1999 a local marina operator approached him about a muffler system for a customer’s 572 ci engine and the quest to build the best high performance marine muffler began. Since that time, building snowmobile exhaust, racing and developing the silencing technology found here today has been the fuel that drives him."

FYI I have used and sold many MBRP cans and do love the fit and finish and warranty but have found the packing starts to become ineffective about year two and they get a little louder. (trail can version) If you can deal with a little more weight I would recommend a baffle or hard packing style can, like the SLP. They seem to keep their quiet sound longer. Downside is they cost more and their warranty department is a little harder to deal with since they are in the USA.
So look beyond weight, cost and initial sound. Also look at where it is made and the design (for longevity). I would go MBRP or GGB if I was looking for only light and value but SLP (or equivalent) if I thought I would keep a sled for a longer time. It is also nice if the can you buy is known to pair up with a performance pipe in case you want a future upgrade. Hmmm, I wonder if SLP will pull an extra 9 hp out of the 850? I better start doing arm exercises just to hang on.

I have a trail MBRP on my 2016 summit x and it’s sounds good and is a perfect fit and great finish.
My riding buddy has the GGB on his 850 and f@k is it loud. Especially when he does a cat walk right beside you. I’m not a fan of the finish but they seem to be built well.
I think if your an old fart like me I would go for the MBRP. But if your ears are good and money doesn’t matter go with the GGB. Just my two cents.

I want to trade or sell my GGB mountain can for a quieter one. Last year I had too many complaints from my riding buddies saying it's too loud lol. 300 miles on the can. I love the can but my buddies hate it.

Ill have these at the sled show. If you want one sooner, ill have stock in a few weeks. There TIG welded 304 stainless polished to a mirror finish. There 13lbs lighter than stock and a chamber design for deep tone. No packing to blow out.
You say deep tone but How loud?
