What does a can/stinger actually do for your machine?
it's kinda like liposuction for a sled. seen some claim up to 15lbs loss over factory muffler. i think on my 670 it was over 10lbs. some give small hp gains but not alot on the newer machines. just huge weight loss and sound better.
Yea, 1 or 2 hp gain = bonus, shed a couple of pounds = bonus, and that sweet sweet sound = aaaahhhhh its a beautiful thing.
Do you have the trail can or the race can?
The whole horsepower thing is very arguable. I have heard from knowledgeable men who make pipes for a living that it is literally impossible to gain horsepower from a can. However, the 10-15 lbs you lose may seem like a power increase. That's also 15 lbs you're not lifting when you're stuck. Or 15 lbs more junk you can pack . Plus it gets rid of that hair drier sound of a stock sled .
Hahaha Arctic cat cans stock pale in comparison to my stock can from my Viper, the thing is absolutly massive, and weighs a ton.
