250 2 stroke or 250 4 stroke? Both are a bit much for you I'd say. How tall are you again? Your certainly not big.. I'm 5'2 and i tippy toe on my 150. Even a 125 2 stroke is going to be tall.. my gf is like 5'10 and she had to shave her seat right down to fit her 125..but she certainly cannot handle the power of it one bit..she actually just broke her leg her 2nd time out on it this season...

I dunno tho depending on your size and ability to man handle a bike (which i'm sure if you can handle a sled you wont have much issues with a bike) I wouldn't go bigger then a 125, but you could prob get like a Kawasaki KX100 for dirt cheap, or an older 125 cc as well..and might just have to adjust the seat and suspension in order for you to touch the ground properly.. or if you want to try out a good trail bike, i'd check out maybe a TTR125 - 230 or a CRF150F (trail version of my bike).. at least there a little bit better priced. Bikes like mine are stupid expensive..still..but they only made them for 3 years and hard to come by

maybe you even wanna check out a race quad or somethin?

pretty sure it was a 250 2 stroke. All I know is I could not touch the ground, lol. Had to lean it on a tree, climb up and try to start it. I'm only 5'4. Had a lot of fun with the bike. But stopping, starting it, anything where I needed to touch the ground sucked.

I was told to go with the TTR125 or a CRF150R. Nah, quads aren't quite my thing. I'd rather go with a bike and get some air!

You would for sure love my bike... its awesome! They are just pricey :(

yeah you would have issues for sure with a 125, they are really no difference in height from a 250.

Your best bet is going to be KX100, SX105, TTR 125, CRF150R, CRF150F , and obviously the MX bikes like mine are nice and light..easy to load into yoru truck all by yourself..good luck doing that with a bigger bike lol.

Here's a KX 100 pretty cheap in your area...

2000 Kawasaki KX100 - Calgary Dirt Bikes, Motocross For Sale - Kijiji Calgary Canada.

Yeah, i'd honestly go with a MX bike if/when you decide to buy..you will get easily bored of a trail bike like a CRF150F or a TTR 125..trust me. Especially becuase you ride a sled, you would definitely prefer the power and snap of a light mx bike.. I've owned both the SX 105, the TTR 125, the CRF150r, and i've ridden a KX100 several times... and the KX 100 will be closer to your budget (if and when you have free $ for it) I just had a quick look and bikes like mine are still going for around 3-4g.

My gf has been riding a kx100 for years and she is 5'5 and loves the bike..

and don't look at the list price too much, some ppl always desperate to sell...

It will be snow for me, I will be hangin with the DPFN in Revy, one last kick, then the quads come out. Roadrunner has already been out a few times. Summer Sucks but we make the best of it.

it will be mud.....then snow......then water......and a little pavement in there too.....

load sleds on truck and drive less than 10 KM up hill in the mud.......unload in the snow and sled for the day........come back and put the jet skies in the water......and do a little tour on the bike!
