Hey Maxwell;
I know you ride Vale alot as do I ,but i havn't been up this year and i know you go every weekend.
A few of us riding the 15th to the 22 and i was wondering from your perspective how the snow conditions really are.

Thanks in advance.

Scotts, if you see this, are you coming up any of these said days?

curtis is in revelstoke.

up until last week snow conditions were amazing for early season. past weekend it was a bit beat up but still lots of fresh to be found. i dont beleive its snowed since then and i dont see much for snow in the next week. so heres hoping! either way its a good chance to explore some new areas or even dive into spots in the main areas that you might have never been before. all the landmines are covered up and theres always fun to be had a fresh to be found even if there isnt 4 feet of untouched. looks like your heading up the week after so it might puke all next week!

OH. and the regular grooming schedule has started!

good luck! see you up there.

lol, the depsno / maxwell crew did just that two weeks ago...lol

pls call me anytime for updates at 2505664817. I can be tough to reach, BUT WILL get back to you. I wont sugar coat it, but as Maxwell stated, I have never seen any areas "tracked out" to the point where you cannot find enough snow to have fun in. Check out www.valemountrecdevelopment.com under Updates and Riding areas for google earth links to area boundaries. This is a great tool for finding the hidden gems.

I did westridge on saturday and i can tell you that the trail is already a bob sled track. To get up it, it's pretty much pin and pray haha

Oasis is broke a couple buddies and I did it on sat last weekend. The cut blocks are in rough shape now several other attemped as well. We rode it Sunday and dropped into the second bowl but to many rocks showing to go any further then that. We were the only track in the second bowl when we pulled out at 1 on sunday.
