Anyone having issues with their Marlon deck? Recently picked mine up from Don's Speed Parts in Wainwright, and so far am less than impressed. The ramp rattles so badly going down the highway you can hear it from the cab. As well as the nylon slides have come loose and move around, making it difficult to get the pins in to expand the deck width wise. Sent them an email but haven't heard back, am I the only one with issues?

Deck is in a 2016 F350 8' box if it matters. Bolted and turnbuckled.

Almost all of the ones I've seen extended to full width for two sleds have the extensions drooping. Looks like a frown from the back.

I had a lot of problems with mine but most were resolved with the managers and also clarification from a engineer on the lack of information in the manual/ specs

Its been more than a year since purchase and still waiting for a correct replacement part that will probably never come.... after reminding them multiple times to send the part, they sent the same wrongs one out again. I have just completely given up on them for such a simple simple fix they could of dealt with and made a happy customer

Don't get me wrong, I do like the deck, it just needs alittle help in a few areas. It is what it is, but not what i expected for the $$$$ . I personally wouldn't recommend to anyone I know, I would hate to see someone else go through all the same frustrations. Next time i will taking a close look at a Crosstrax for sure!

That's unfortunate. A friend of mine has an older Marlon deck and it has been great for him. Too bad they can't get the little details sorted out on their "Pro" deck. Definitely won't be recommending to anyone.

thats the reason im upset they got rid of their basic lineup of decks. they were like 2500$ brand new with superclamps and you just expected them to be junk but they got the job done and you couldn't beat the price.

now they are double that to start and still the same junk but with fancy sides and decking.

I'm surprised that there hasn't been a survey distributor that has stepped up to make decks just for you Geomatics guys, with the drawers and everything in them........

My Marlon Pro has been pretty good so far, the side are kind of a pain to retract back and forth. I'm really suprised that a deck company hasn't come up with powered extensions yet, I don't it would be too hard to do. I'm thinking something like a travel trailer slide set up would work. Would sure be nice to be able to just push a button.

The sides are the least of my concerns honestly. The fact that I can hear the ramp rattling while I drive down the highway drives me insane. It's embarrassing in the city hitting potholes, truck sounds like a rattletrap.

Ya that ramp is a rattle trap. If you have the legs stretched out for eight foot box you need to add puck board to the front half of the ramp holder so it sits level and doesn't pivot and rattle. Thats what i did with mine.

Seems they don't take real trucks into their design.

I don't even know if they're still actively building decks to be honest with you. My old Marathon solid side 8' wide by 9' long is still holding up. Seeing the price tag on new decks does not make me excited for when it's finally worn out though.
