Up Renshaw late today! Stopped in and helped bbtoys for a bit with some staining. Very warm in the alpine and mainly cloudy with some sunny spots. Snow is setting up quickly plus wind is blowing but it's still fun! Just did the loop cabin to anthills! Also Mountainview road is very soft there are some very bad spots so be careful!!

Anybody have any news on Lucille? Did it get the same dump that Renshaw did?

No Lucielle and Belle did not recieve the same snow! They did get snow but more like
8-10inches! And those trails have been holding up real well!

Thanks Higgins, I have a first timer coming out with me this weekend and we were going to check out Lucille first thing friday. Just wanted to make sure it wasnt a huge sheet of ice for him.

It rained here again last night and you can see a snowline but it is quite high up the mountains. Still staying warm though +12 and cloudy inthe valley this morning. Hotrod will be grooming but with the warm conditions who knows how well the trail will hold up. He'll try his best!!

So it is actually 12C today? I was hoping McBride didn't have a weather station and it was a weather station from Prince George or something that was giving a warm temp. Hoping the trails hold up till next week. We are there from 16-20. Still good riding up top?

A small group of us will be in town around noon tomorrow. It will be our first time in the mcbride area. Where would be our best bet for a half day ride. And also hoping to hook up with someone on sat that knows the area. If anyone is will we all have a few years exp riding in the hills so we hope not to slow you down much If anyone is interested please pm me

Lucille is great for half day rides. Short distance from parking lot too. Renshaw is great for a full day.

was warm today but snowing up belle and Lucille today. those trails are in great shape with about 10 inches of new snow on the hill and hardly any tracks. going up renshaw tomorrow so will let you know about that. grooming renshaw tonite, not sure what good it will do but we will see.
