that is pretty crappy but i got one worse! roll an apex and have the key break off in the ignition! I pulled the broke part out with needle nose but i still couldnt start the sled! luckily i had my spare in my truck! sent a buddy to the truck and got my spare. now i keep a spare in my backpack!

Worse than pulling an engine 4 times?

My rope would not recoil like yours until I got the housing cleaned out and recoil lubed up. I just tapped the recoil housing with a rubber mallet and it will recoil back in. Just hold the cord straight up with one hand and tap with the mallet using the other hand and it will recoil right up! :)

I ended up having I replace the spring as it was broken got I back on now. Just waiting for some paint to dry and get the pipe back on and ride baby ride ha ha.
