M8000 oil light

2018 mountain cat Oil light comes on every time I start sled today. Stays on from 10 sec to 2 mins. Any ideas fault y sensor? If oil pumps failing would the cause light to come on?

Your not alone mine has same issue it’s intermittent. Started when I rolled it over one time to get unstuck pump is working fine its either wires or sensor that I think get pinched on side panel. I’m going to look a little closer tomorrow.

Those connectors were famous for letting moisture in. Take the connector off get the water out and put on some dielectric grease. This should solve the issue. The sensor is not connected to the pump it is just a float style level switch.

Thanks guys I’ll try dry it out and put dielectric grease in the plug see if that fixes it.
