M8000 gauge cluster

New to cat and was wondering if every new cat has a busted gauge cluster? Are there any updates or fixes? Seems every new cat has the gauge cluster zip tied.

Mine doesn't. My buddies doesn't. My other buddies doesn't. Actually, I've never seen one that IS zip tied anywhere. Where are they zip tied? Or where do they break?

Thanks for the valuable input. I am talking about the plastic tips on the back of the gauge cluster that connects 2 quarter inch bolts to the tilt bracket. If I set my helmet on my bars and it fell on the cluster it would break the plastic mounts they are weak.

I won't set my helmet anywhere near my bars, windshield, or cluster for that very reason.

i have never had trouble with my cats. is there a gauge relocation kit that you could install to maybe move the gauge or even just change the style of mount. I had done that to my old m1000.
