i had that exact sled, reed screwed up in mine, otherwise was a good sled,Put around 1300kms on never used a belt.Although to me it felt like the motor was too much for the 141" and never felt that it hooked up that great.Otherwise a great sled, nice to throw around.Would've keep it if had reverse probable
How much the guy asking?

the 700 cat laydown motor is amazing...
have a f-7 with over 5000 hard miles on it and never even seen what the internals look like....
they have really good power...
the m-7's were geared a little low so there a littler harder on fuel
no reverse sucks... but who cares who wants to go home when their sledding.

Great sled ....In my experence its whos riding the machine that makes the difference -Dissplacement is no replacement for experience- the 700 will indeed take you places that you probably should not be......If anything put a can on it and then the boondocker box ...the bottom end has a bit of a rich bog. I enjoy the 7 im still riding mine (with 4500 hard kms) and i havnt even thought about upgrading to a 8 yet nor will i for atleast another 2 years.

M7's are the best sled cat makes! If it has the attack 20 track on it i would update the track. And put in slp vents in the air box with a can, and the bog on the bottom end will go away.

I love my M7. I've gotten it to the point where its just dialed and it runs awesome. Just screams all day long and is so easy to throw around. The last trip I was on in Revy, most of the guys I was with thought it was an M8. Nope, just a little ol' seven hundy with a few bolt ons:d. 2750kms of alpine riding and its never skipped a beat or left me stranded.

A friend of mine has 9000k on his M7 and it's still running strong.

He has yet to do the top end in it, to boot.

I have an 05 M7 with a 162 track , I have since upgraded to a M1000 but only cause the wife wanted the 7. It has well over 6000k on it and like the others I have never had to do a thing to it but replace a worn out clutch . I also had some mods done to it the same as above as well as nitrous. Good sled , still running strong!!

I have an 06 M7 153, and I love it. Again, reverse would be a plus, but oh well. With only 500k on it, I would say it would be an excellent sled.
