M1100t aftermarket exhaust

Recently installed a straight pipe on my sled and found that the 02 sensor was hitting the hood. It was doing this because of the 02 sensor bung/nut is too tall by approximately 3/8". Also that this will lead to improper positioning of the sensor in the exhaust. Simple fix was to cut down the nut and clean up the threads also making sure the the mating surface is perpendicular to the sensor. (To ensure a proper seal of the sensor) thought I would post this for a heads up to eliminate future grief.

which brand of Pipe? I'm still waiting for mine from MBRP. I heard that there is a 15 HP gain by going to the straight pipes.

A lot cheaper and easier to just cut it at the elbow and weld on a piece of muffler pipe, cut to length and weld on the bracket that attaches to the frame

My buddy made this one for his sled. Sounds loud on low idle once your riding around it actually sounds pretty decent

We had one around our camp the other night and IMO it sounded terrible. Very nice sled but sounded like! never mind. I think they need some kind of muffler that is lighter and a little louder if you want but strait pipe ???
