currently have 09 m1000 sno pro with slp pipe kit and Iam running a 42-38 helix in the secondary, feels like its staying in lower gear ratio. All the obvious are ok motor mounts, rollers , belt ect ect. Just curious to see what everyone else has tried.

On my 09 M1000 I am running Terra Alps Helix which I believe is a 46/36 and I love it! Also run AC gold spring for a soft engagment.

42-36 open ended m7 style helix, team spring conversion with a red pink.

Check your moveable sheave bushing. If it's worn, clutch operation will suffer and act sluggish and stuck in first gear. Think of it this way: bushing worn, spring tension on, belt on, when you're loaded up, the rearward half of the clutch is going to be pulled more open than the frontward half, and that's called binding.
