Hi Guys, I've seen different pics of extra motor mounts on a M1000. Does anyone have a good pic of the extra mount that Linderman makes? Seems that this one would be the easiest one to install compared to adding the mount on the bottom of the motor. Thanks:d

what year of m1000 do you have?

2010 m1000's come out with stiffer mounts for the upper mag side mount. its a green dotted mount the same as the ones in the pto side.... also you probably know the 09 and up pto side plate has a much stiffer front mount.

the bottom mag mount is the same on all years. i had installed all new eng mounts due to cracking and tearing esp the upper mag mount. i installed a mount on the bottom pto side like some have done on snowest. im going to give a try and see how it works. lindermans definitely looks much easier to install. ill probably add this if im having belt troubles again but i will give new and extra mounts a go first.

I had replaced my motor mount plate on the clutch side with an updated one, so since I had my old one laying around I cut off the front mount, bolted it to a piece of aluminum angle iron and bolted it to the block above the rewind (where Linderman bolts his). Its not as pretty but it works. Also bought a factory bump stop from an M7 ($30) and installed it below my airbox (hole is already there) and adjusted it till my clutches came into alignment. Did this first then installed the upper mount. So far works awesome.

i picked one up. $180... little heavy... but should keep m1000 pretty solid under load especially with the extra mount under the pto side i put on earlier this year.

it has a yellow dotted mount which is a soft mount but it forsurely will help with movement yet not too much extra vibs.
