Hi, I am new on this forum and wanted to let everyone know that I own and operate a private M-X track. It is open to the general public and the land is zoned specifically for an off road vehicle park. No insurance or registration is required in order to ride. Just sign the waiver form and pay the appropriate fees and you're good to go. The track is near Opal which isn't too far from Redwater. It is a friendly track for beginners and people who have never road a track. Faster riders also really like it, especially the corners. It also has a dedicated pee-wee track for small kids on 50's. You can learn more by visiting the website at superdavesmx.com. Sorry, I don't know how to post a link to the website. Maybe someone could post a link? Come and check it out. Dave

went there today and had some fun...

very short track though so it's a good place to go booting around for a couple of hours but not a whole day :(

It is a motocross track and not trails. It's a mile long (1.8 km) with about 2 minute lap times which is pretty standard length for an M-X track. I'm hoping to add a hare scrambles loop to it once I finish the main track. I have a water truck and try to keep it groomed pretty good. I've added sand and am adding more. If you like to go faster than 2nd or 3rd gear, you'll probably like the track as its got some fast sections. Some of the real fast guys hit 5th gear. Dave

Was out on the weekend with my son, we had some fun. It was pretty wet, but once it dried out it was good. We have only started riding tracks so for us it was more then enough, not sure for more experienced riders.

Has anyone checked out the Blackfoot MX park in Calgary? Checked out their site, wildrosemx.com. Plannin on checkin it out during next week sometime as I am off work. Looks pretty good..6 tracks or so. Haven't been out to Super Dave's yet but plan on it once I can round up some troops to go a long.
