M series hoods

Been looking for a m series hood for 07-08 m8.

These are hard to come by it seems. Is it the most of them are breaking at the nose where the mounting pins are? Is there something aftermarket to install to reinforce the nose if I do find one?

Lol does anyone got one forsale?

There are 2 at my work, one is a white hood (gutted), the other is a light weight, see thru hood. Think the white one is on consignment. If interested, you can call CC Cycle in Westlock.

If you want to lose some weight off the sled you can go this way. Mountain fit hood and vents from Menz Toys, and an air intake from Timbersled.

What about Diamond S hoods, they seem tough and light weight?

Any year M series hood will fit I think. Echo cycle in Edmonton had some used takeoffs for sale last fall. # is 780-447-3246.

are the diamond s or skins hoods (full frame wrapped with mesh) any good or do they let snow through under certain conditions and cause hell with the clutches ?
